so, i woke up super early to finish lelah. she was no longer lelah, but in a jekyl and hyde moment had morphed into laylahndaa, her very obese and trashy stepsister. i didn’t want to do the elastic, i planned to put on straps. my boobs are too big to play that game, so i added another row of eyelets at the top, to put another ribbon thru. also, i decided to do the top half in that incredibly soft organic cotton from blue sky alpacas. do you see where this may be going? they should not make cotton. this is the SAME cotton i tried to make butter’s hat out of that could fit the jolly green giant. i didn’t learn. it looked big, when i block it, i thought, i will adjust. it will. nope. it is fine on the bottom and even though i used smaller needles and decreased, it is substantially huger on top. i even went to the lengths of putting ribbon through it to see if that would work. it is too big to wear as a skirt. how about that. so, i will rip out that cotton, and anyone who wants it, drop me an email, the farther away the better. i don’t even like the color of the top. i think you cannot make anything you want to wear out of it. a blankie would work. but at $12 per 130 yd. i am so irritated. i should maybe put this aside for a bit. i have been proudly showing it when anyone asks what i am making, it is the most complex thing i have ever made, after knitting half of it twice, i will now knit the other half twice. sigh.

also, my dr increased my pain patch and i feel high. not in a good way. sleepy and out of it. i hope he will adjust it back down. zzzzzzzzz.

also, i cannot locate my phone since yesterday. i washed the car after my hairappt, which was uneventful, amy, ask me about the gossip, though, and when i went to use the vaccuum, i got the one that doesn’t work with my last 75 cents. i may have said that yesterday. anyway, i hope i didn’t leave my phone there. oooh. maybe it is just in my car. i think i am going to get up and go to marshall’s and blow this credit slip/card that my mom gave me. although i am feeling large at the moment.
