so we had the potluck last night, which was a smashing success. i think everyone had fun, although jenna, jason’s girlfriend, got a really bad migraine. she was really sweet to come out to meet us feeling cruddy to start. being a migrainer myself, i could tell how bad she felt. we also met jake’s boss duane and his wife audra, who were super nice. really fun. everyone else, other than my awesome in-laws, are pictured. my mom in law wore this really bright yellow blazer and heather called her daffodil, which i was concerned would piss her off, but she laughed. my brother and sister in law said they were busy, then called today and told jake that they didn’t do anything. sigh. my senseo was a huge hit, he was busy busy busy, and at the end of the night i baked toll house cookies which everyone loved. 2 dozen, gone. and they are big cookies. all the food was really good. heather helped me clean up and jake conked out. she left around 2:30, i think. i got a message from my mom that someone is trying to get a student loan in my name and used my mom and a family friend as a guarantor. i will call on monday and she what the hell that is all about. my ex has tried to get credit in my name while we were together, as well as many years later, so if it isn’t just a mistake, which it doesn’t seem possible it could be, it is probably him. i would be ok with sending him to jail. bastard.
anyway, i have a whopper of a headache, jake went to get groceries, although we leave for vacation on friday, so we don’t need much. plus we have food left over. ok, i cannot see. i am going. i was supposed to go to jo-jo’s with amy, but i can’t see straight.
all the cats are sleeping and snoring their little kitty snores. cute. and annoying.
oh, also, pavel was a little party animal, trying to eat off of the table, messing with people’s purse’s, hanging out with everyone, then falling asleep on one of the dining room chairs, sitting up, as kittens do. he loves people. the more the better.
ok, i am gonna try to sleep this off.
