everythingssss sspiiiiniiiiing
so last night i picked up the transylvanian drop spindle jakie got me and gave it a whirl. literally. it flew out of my hands and across the floor. after another different set of directions, i tried it my way, which seemed to work well. i only got 4 or 6 oz of dyed rovings at sheep and whool, they said it would take forever for me to use that up, or, in my case, a night. drats!! i have one sore forearm from spinning. i know i want a wheep. i called a local sheep lady who only had white rovings, which i could dye, but i couldn’t get there in time today and i dunno if i can get there tomorrow, it is a fair drive in the boonies, and i hate going alone to places i am unfamiliar with. maybe heather’s student can get me some…i am addicted, i think. this is the first try. lumpy and bumpy. yay!
i went to kathy’s to return those crap circs and got some sale stuff and some replacement circs. i sas the loop de loop book which looked fabu! i also got some interweave mags from last summer and the one before for a buck each. and yarn for the 3rd attempt at butter’s hat. butter!!
