to those of you who sent me messages wondering where i am because you missed my blog…oh my god, you are tooo sweet. it makes me feel so special. my in-laws, hubby and i went on vacation to south carolina for a week and we had no ISP at our condo. i had planned to go to starbucks or something to blog, but i ended up being really tired in the evenings. i missed you guys a lot. i even handwrote a blog entry to post later. sad. i have a huge backlog of blogs to catch up on, as well.

well, let’s get to it. my lys on the island was ok…the people were really nice, if not as knowledgeable as i am used to. i got a few projects finished, but not photoed, two shoulderettes for paying customers, $80 a pop, i think i told you about it, i have one more to finish. i also finished butter’s lightweight hat. i spun a ton of yarn. ok, more like half a pound. 4 oz of that was a handpainted roving that was blue faced leichester. little did i know that not only does it look like gorgeous cotton candy, but it feels like heaven. it is so soft and came out gorgeous. i told jake that spinning to me must feel like zipping around on his motorbike does to him. it make my heart jump around in my chest like snoopy doing his dance. jake asked my what i will knit with all the yarn i have been spinning. some of the first really thick and lumpy will probably get wrapped for art peices, i dunno about the rest. it resides in a really cool long skinny basket on the dining room table right now.
we went to a fantastic fiber store called, appropriately enough, “wild fiber”. sorry, no website…i am super tired, so i will finish this to-morrow, we left the house at about 8:30a and got in to greensburg at about 9p. i have been having the exhaustion problems again, and literally slept 80% of the way home, knitting 10 stitches in between naps, i saw double when i attempted to stay awake. anyway, i had a triple latte twice today and still slept and am tired now. i also have a spider bite on the back of my neck that is huge, plus one in the crease of my butt and thigh and one on the front of my thigh. i can feel them all itching for me talking about them. we had a really nice time, butter watched the cats and the house looks cleaner than when we left. it appears that for the first time ever, we came back from vaca and peeps did not poo or pee for retaliation. butter is that awesome. i want to keep talking, there are miles to go before i sleep. i must….ok, first thing to-morrow
