They remind me of dahlias or maybe water lilies/lotus blossoms, rising up above the leaves on the surface of a pond. The one with the bulb attached looks a bit like saffron crocus or other fall blooming crocus (C. sativa), which are in flower in my garden now. <br/><br/>I love botanical prints...will look at my stash and horticulture books for some names for you to look up for inspiration.
