scratch my back. please.
well, still rash city here. i feel poopy and moody and weepy because of the steroids, i think, looking gross, and i had to cancel my hair appt because i think the chemicals may not be a good thing for my tender, inflamed skin. so, roots, gray hairs, not good. and i can’t wear makeup to cover any of this mess up because it hurts. so mainly, it feels burned, now, and the rest of me is dry and itchy, but i am scared to put anything on it. so.
i got bloodwork for the second time this week. thankfully, maryanne, the best phlebotemist (sp?) ever, did it both times. she is a maverick! i then went to the post office to get my cards from the yarn museum (thanks so much!) and they weren’t there. so. i had to stop taking my mood meds when this whole rash thing started because we thought that might be the problem, although i have been off of them since sunday and it isn’t really any better, so i guess i could start em back up. anyway, since i have been off of them, i feel weepy and out of sorts all the time. when they told me that the package wasn’t there, i felt like i would cry.
i spent the rest of the day getting stuff tagged and listed for the trunk show this weekend at sugar, which of course i probably won’t be attending, due to the pox. jake is dropping the stuff off for me after work to-morrow. he is the best. ever.
anyway, i don’t have much else to say because i am not really myself, and i don’t want to poop on everyone’s blogreading. i do appreciate all of the kind comments and emails, though. and i must thank my sweet friend barbe for listening to me rant and talking me of the ledge. or curb, whatever.
also, i found a package from ireland in the mail today and one of my customers had made a linoleum cut of my logo and made me greeting cards! and she sent a card she had also made herself with poetry she had written on it, i will take photos and post em, it was a fantastic time to have gotten them. and because i am overly emotional lately, i got weepy, whilst in my car. thanks so much lorna! too sweet! mwah! mwah!
photos of something? um, okay.
here is another color scheme of the poppy scarf. i haven’t listed it yet, but let me know if you want it. i like this one the best so far. it has vintage buttons for the centers.
off to knit. or spin. or something.
sorry to be such a misery.
