our first podcast! wooooot!

kahlo is so happy, it makes her smile!
kahlo smiling!
first, let me tell you about the fluffalicious blog that barbe and i are doing and the podcast that goes along with it! what? a podcast? well, yes! barbe is doing the technical side of things right now, i am hoping to learn more so i can help out and we can make it even more exciting, if that is possible. so go and check it out, leave comments, ideas, let us know whatcha think! wanna hear my squeaky voice? now ya can! how cool is that?

it blows me away that not so long ago i started this blog to overcome my technophobia. from that blog came my inspiration to close the tattoo shop i opened more than 10 years prior, and had grown miserable at. i closed that down to pursue fiber full-time, knitting for boutiques and then spinning. and now, through those avenues, i met barbe and became good friends with her and here we are. a podcast!

so, i thought some pics would be nice, here are some from my studio:
guache pallette
studio luxe in progress

i have some new art pieces to unleash on you, and i will be listing some of the paintings and collaged pieces on etsy, as well as some new yarns and fiber. so go and look.

thanks for all of the wonderful words of support!
love you guys!

You have to watch out for those Pod Casts. There are bunches of movies about pods taking over people. They hatch an alien that looks just like the human they arereplacing. That is why I refuse to do one of those pod cast thing. I don’t want no stinking alien taking overmy life.

i don’t want to freak out my readers, but i am already an alien. my family is from south africa, so while we are us citizens now and blend in (sort of) we are really aliens. hmmmm.

Oooh, a South African accent is a fabulous thing to hear — do you have one?

I love the pics of your studio! Just looking at them inspire me to break out paints and fiber and do some seriously fun creating.

    Thanks!

i can speak in a SA accent, but i made a point to lose it when i was a kid, because i got teased. my parents both have it still.

you should break out the paints and make a mess!

it perplexes me how you get such fabulous feline photos. if my rotten kitty will sit still for 4 nanoseconds, i manage to ALWAYS get alien demon eyes. and, yeah, i think i need a studio. i dont’ care if i have nothing to do in the studio yet, i really want one. :)

our youngest cat is really hard to get photos of. the fluffy one, peeps, totally poses. she actually meows at you if you take out the camera, like when i go to take photos of yarns or artwork. the kitten is easiest to take photos of whilst sleeping or nearly sleeping. oh, and i NEVER use a flash. that helps too.
