yea. less than a handful of stitches are all people need to do some complicated sewing, but it's that it seems like only the super fancy machines have the best bits in them to make things run really smooth and awesome. on both machines, i was always fighting the side-load thread jam problem. but i do need to get them serviced.

i agree, spending cash on fancy-too many button machines isn't really nessesary.

=] !!

donna, i could see in your eyes that you were getting a migraine because i look the same way. it isn't right that your doc makes you feel like you just have headaches...no biggie. if you are incapacitated and have them weekly or more...or even monthly, that isn't okay. you deserve to be taken seriously. okay, end rant. i emailed ya back, call tomorrow if you feel okay...i am glad you like the books! you can get them pretty cheap on amazon if they seem like something you would really want to buy. i don't use em, so keep em as long as you like. feel better!
mwah!

mal, yeah, i know, it is really easy to make excuses, but i am sure that your machines want to be used. they must be lonely! i am one of those strange people that don't generally like to get new stuff unless i really need to. and i am cheap. so if i can avoid spending the bucks, i will. and then, you are always tempted to get things way fancier than you would ever ever need or even use. i know someone that got a really nice sewing machine and could just as easily use one that does 2 stitches. i don't know why things like that bug me, but...

you are a sweetie pie!
xo

Natasha,

I had a ton of fun as well. Sorry I did not get answer your call today. I was sleeping until 1:30! eeeeeekkkkk! I got a killer migrain last night that would not quit. I got some bottled water at the store today so I can save them to put the dyes in. I am so excited. The books you let me borrow were awesome. I'll give ya a call when my head lets me speak clearly. Thanks again.

sewing - my sewing machine died on me a while back and i got super lazy about fixing it. i then found an 1970's sears-kenmore which was kinda awesome, but it also has issues too. i want one of those wonderful viking's. they sew like fluffy-clouded unicorn dreams. but in reality, i could just bring one or the other to a service place.

anorexia enthusists - WTF. that is so scary. i was reading some of that livejournal and it just made me sick. i get wanting to be in shape and healthy, but yeesh!

yeay red couch.

i love that single you posted up top. so perty.
