lol! my hubby was not allowed any secular music, and NO christian rock. he was bad and listened to petra.
he also was also not allowed to go to the movies til he was 18. i think he went to 1 kid movie before that. and no TV.
due to the hippies i was raised by, i have made it my goal to educate him in culture period.
he has pretty decent taste now
it is amazing how great some people turn out inspite of their parents!

I’ll try to get to it before I leave tomorrow, if not, I’ll remember it for when I get back.
Hey, I have some knitting wire on the destash blog that no one wants (even though I paid $20 and have it marked down to $16). I thought of you - want to do a trade for it? Check it out here and let me know: http://destash.blogspot.com/2007/05/reduced-take-my-yarn-please.html
Don’t sweat it, since I won’t be back until June 19, but I figured I’d see if you were interested!

heather, it is odd because he has such insanely eclectic tastes, but in a good way. i am an admitted music nazi, and there is stuff he listens to that is not my thing, but is good music. what a relief! i can’t be around bad music. just can’t. and good taste in books and movies, too. go figure. i was allowed to see and listen to whatever. so it never seemed so exciting to me, ya know?
amanda, i went to see what you had but it was just the blog in general, and i was too lazy to look at all of it. i will go and look at that post and let you know for sure!
have funs!

Ha! I have a Mazda 3 too (silver hatchback), and my favorite sport is the World’s Strongest Man too! Actually, I like the World’s Strongest Woman better, but I’ve only seen it once. I’m gonna do this meme in a few days.

heatherly,
petra. mwah ha ha. i haven’t heard that one in a long time. or stryper, maybe. all we were allowed to listen to were church hymns. not gospel music, church hymns. big difference. soulless, monotone, out-of-pitch, stale old white people church hymns. even petra was considered terrible. maybe even worse. using jesus to proliferate those secular beats. sacrilige!
shannon,
oohhhh!! i’m so down with that. but i’ll supply the root beer. there is a local fella that makes the most tastiest brew i ever done swallered. yummy.
jake.
